Grilled Flank Steak Sandwich

Cut: Flank Steak
Preparation Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes

Main Ingredients:

 1 1/2 lb. beef flank steak
 2 tablespoons Mrs. Dash Original Steak Blend
 3 rounds pita bread, cut in half
 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
 6 lettuce leaves, shredded
 1 cup fat-free yogurt
 1/2 cup cucumber, peeled and chopped
 2 teaspoons fresh mint, finely chopped

Directions:
  1. Combine yogurt, cucumber and mint to make sauce, set aside. Coat flank steak with Mrs. Dash seasoning, press into meat. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill steak 5-6 minutes on each side for rare and 7-8 minutes for medium, do not overcook! Remove steak from grill and allow to rest for 2-3 minutes. Slice steak as thinly as possible against the grain. Fill pita pocket with steak, tomatoes, onions, lettuce and drizzle with sauce. Makes 6 servings.
